Bell Kids EDUCATIONAL POLICYEducational Philosophy

The world that our children now live in, is internationalising faster than we could ever imagine.
Music, sports, manga, movies and computers are no longer confined to the borders of Japan.
Bell Kids started as an English conversation school with the aim of nurturing the next generation of global citizens, and has continued to do so for more than 30 years running.
In order to keep up with the speed of globalization,
we believe in having students exposed to English spoken by native speakers from an early age so that they will graduate from our school internationally minded and active on the world stage.
Springing from this, Bell Kids International Preschool was established in April 2005.

The English language requires four key skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
We believe that these skills should be taught in a fun and enjoyable manner, not as rote learning. This is because learning a language is about communicating with the people around you.
Just like when learning Japanese, you learn to speak by first listening to the words around you and then slowly and deliberately translate what you hear into words; learning English is no different.

We also recognize the importance of have a deliberate approach when teaching English; first establishing the foundations and then slowly and precisely building upon that.

Children can be in contact with native teachers during the most important years of their childhood.
They are able to acquire an international perspective, customs and culture.
We provide a bilingual education that will be your child’s strongest asset for life.
Bell Kids staff are here to help your child learn English, the world’s lingua franca, in a natural and fun way.

We aspire to create a homely and personal environment for your child to learn English and grow up to be a global citizen.
